The visual artists featured in Harmonic Visions combine their experiences of living in contemporary China with the country’s rich and diverse traditions. Growing up in the 60s and 70s, they experienced the dramatic changes that transformed the country at political, social and cultural levels. Using modern photographic and digital technologies, these artists romanticize China’s past and look forward to its future.
Curated by Chambers Fine Art.
Ancient Paths, Modern Voices: A Festival Celebrating Chinese Culture is made possible by a leadership gift from Henry R. Kravis in honor of his wife, Marie-Josée.
